Your documents, in the right place.
ClosePack helps your bookkeeping firm collect the documents it needs for a particular entity and month. You do not need a Microsoft 365 subscription to use the client portal.
1. Verify your email
Your firm sends an invitation to an explicitly assigned email address. Open the link and confirm to sign in. Links expire and work once. Your access covers only the legal entities your firm assigned.
2. Open the right monthly request
Check the legal entity, reporting month, deadline and requested coverage dates. A statement cycle can differ from a calendar month. Contact your firm if those requirements are unclear.
3. Upload documents against each item
Select a checklist item, choose your file and confirm its reporting period and coverage dates. Supported types include PDF, JPEG, PNG, CSV, XLSX and DOCX up to 25 MiB. Files undergo validation and malware checks. A pending safety scan means the file is stored privately and is not yet available for download, review or delivery. Use “Refresh scan status” on the request to check again; a pending result alone does not require a replacement.
4. Respond to a return reason
Your reviewer can return an individual version with a reason visible to you. Upload its correction against the same item. The replacement receives a new version number and must be reviewed again. Do not put corrections into another client's request.
5. Follow the package status
Uploading a file does not mean it has been accepted. Your firm reviews exact versions, delivers accepted files to its SharePoint destination, and closes the collection package after requirements are satisfied.
Firm administrators: SharePoint connection uses assisted setup after subscription activation. Your Microsoft 365 administrator grants consent and access to the selected site. Contact ClosePack support to verify and enable your work directory before configuring delivery. Client contacts do not perform these administrator steps.
